1)Instructions for JC1 H2 Mathematics June Holiday Assignments 2008 (Taken from portal)

Note that these instructions are for 08S08, 08S16, 08S20 and 08S29 ONLY.
Try your best to finish up your assignments by 6th June 2008 INDIVIDUALLY.
a. This is a chance for you to do your own revision so that the group discussion / consultation later will be more fruitful.
b. Most of the questions are very similar to your tutorial questions. Hence, this assignment checks if you have understood your tutorials.
c. 14 days seems to be quite short for you to finish up the 35 questions. But see it this way… If there is no deadline, most of you won’t do the questions at all! =)
Between 9-12 June 2008, meet up with your group members to discuss the assignment. For common questions that no one can do, group leader are supposed to book consultation. However, I will only mark 1 random copy from each group. EVERYONE NEED TO HAND IN! Marks will be given to the group members based on the random copy chosen.
a. You can come for consultation as individuals or as a group.
b. If you still feel that you need one-to-one consultation after the group discussions, feel free to do so.
c. Consultations to be made by email (poh_swee_huat@moe.edu.sg) or sms (9436 1905). No phone calls will be entertained. Please kindly state your name, class and preferred date and timing for consultation.
d. Consultations will be available for booking between 9-13th June between 9am to 3pm. You can seek consultation between 23-26 June between 8am to 1pm.
e. Everyone is supposed to hand in their own holiday assignment by 5pm on 12th June 2008.
f. Please inform me if the group has problems with certain group members. Eg, refusing to meet, not doing the assignment at all, etc.

Once I’ve looked through your holiday assignments, I’ll send the Group leaders a sms. Please collect your holiday assignments from your class drawer outside the staff room.
